Classroom Addition
Lourdes College, Sylvania, Ohio

Size: 38,000 SF

TCI designed this addition to fit within the campus’ unique architectural context. Embodying the philosophies of the Sisters of St. Francis, who value environmental stewardship, the new facility features a geothermal HVAC system and daylighting controls to reduce the depletion of our natural resources. The expansion houses a student outreach and tutoring center, classrooms, offices, financial aid, a welcome center for new students, and student lounges. The historically sensitive design incorporates modern technology, including ceiling-mounted projectors, building-wide wireless access and provisions for security monitoring.
