At the height of its glory, this historic park was a booming urban oasis, offering beach access and a shady respite. Over time, Lakeview fell into disrepair, and the Master Plan endeavors to bring it back to its former popularity. An Event Garden for weddings and special events, a Memorial Garden, and two outdoor amphitheaters are features of the Park. The Bathhouse has also been redesigned and rebuilt, incorporating features reminiscent of the original historic facility.
